Away is the fourth episode of the new Netflix series The OA.
An agonizing dilemma gives OA a new perspective on the group's plight. Homer resolves to find out what Hap's experiments are really about.
When Prairie awakes, she is back in the room of stars with the woman. The woman offers her a choice: to gain a new way of traveling that doesn't exist to humans or to join her father in peace. She decides to stay and help her friends escape from Dr. Mark Shea. She tries to convince her fellow captives that they are all angels and that she can see.
Abel and Nancy talk about Prarie writing a book so that she'll have money to one day go to a college technical school. Betty gets two of her students to help her clear out her brother's apartment. Prairie goes to her first therapy session with an FBI grief counselor. She tells the group later about how Dr. Shea was gassing them to make them compliant and willing to participate in his experiments. They learn that the doctor is killing them again, and again to prove that death wasn't an end.
Homer finally succeeded in dying awake and swallowed something that was alive in his dream just like Prairie said. He swallowed a sea creature.
